About the Role
We're looking for a Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring for FunFox, from sourcing and screening candidates to partnering with hiring managers, supporting onboarding, and growing our employer brand. This is a role for someone who's quick on their feet, comfortable juggling multiple hiring cycles at once, and has a friendly, easygoing nature that puts candidates at ease.
Our hiring process is simulation- and task-based, so you'll be running structured, hands-on assessments rather than just resume reviews which means that high organisation and attention to detail matter here.
Beyond recruitment, you'll help manage candidate records, support onboarding, and act as the go-to point of contact for both applicants and internal stakeholders, so professionalism and responsiveness are just as important as recruiting instinct.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Shortlist new applications daily based on 5-minute job simulations (managing 2–3 open roles simultaneously)
- Conduct HR/screening interviews and technical simulations
- Manage candidate communication and keep candidate records up to date
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and align on next steps
- Support onboarding for new hires once offers are accepted
Employer Branding
- Own and grow FunFox's Employer Brand presence, particularly on LinkedIn (job announcements, candidate/employee spotlights, culture content)
Capability Building / L&D
- Support the design and rollout of L&D initiatives for the team
- Help identify capability gaps and contribute to training/onboarding materials
Qualifications
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and situational judgment when engaging with candidates and internal teams
- Experience with hiring processes and interviewing, including screening applications and coordinating interviews
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Solid organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple requisitions at once
- Proficiency with recruitment/HR systems and common office software (email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools)
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment
- Prior experience in recruitment coordination, HR, or education-related hiring is a plus, though not required
