Are you a recruiter who thrives on the hunt — building pipelines, headhunting passive talent, and closing out roles that matter? We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to own the full recruitment lifecycle for a client operating across the Australian industrial, manufacturing, and trades space, placing everything from production talent to senior technical and management hires.

This is a high-volume, relationship-driven role for someone who's confident on the phone, comfortable cold-calling, and just as capable managing a $100k+ specialist search as they are filling an operational vacancy at pace.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• 1.5–2+ years of agency recruitment experience, ideally within the Australian or US market, across manufacturing, industrial, trades, or related sectors
• A track record recruiting both blue- and white-collar roles, from production and operational positions through to Team Leader, Supervisor, and Management level
• Strong permanent recruitment experience, including specialist, technical, and senior roles with salaries of $100k+
• Strong sourcing and headhunting capability, with experience proactively engaging passive candidates and building quality shortlists
• Confidence on the phone — you're comfortable cold-calling, screening, and vetting candidates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

STRONG SIGNALS

• Experience within labour hire or on-hire workforce models
• Knowledge of industrial awards and site-specific requirements
• Forklift, EWP, or other industry-specific licence knowledge

Candidate Attraction & Sourcing

You own the search from brief to placement.

• You manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from job brief through to placement and post-placement follow-up
• You proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, database searches, referrals, and networking
• You build and maintain a strong, active talent pipeline aligned to current and future client needs
• You write and post engaging job advertisements that attract high-quality candidates

Screening & Assessment

You ensure every candidate you put forward is genuinely ready.

• You conduct detailed candidate screening interviews over phone and video
• You assess technical capability, cultural fit, motivation, and career alignment
• You perform reference checks and verify qualifications, licences, and compliance documentation
• You present shortlisted candidates with clear, concise candidate summaries

Client Partnership, Compliance & Delivery

You keep the process moving and the numbers on track.

• You partner closely with consultants and clients to understand role requirements and market conditions
• You provide market insights, including salary expectations, candidate availability, and competitor activity
• You coordinate interviews, feedback, offer management, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and clients alike
• You maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM/ATS records and work toward individual and team KPIs, including placements, time-to-fill, and retention
