Esland are driven to changing children’s’ lives for the better by providing best-in-class specialist services. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinician to join our highly valued team. The successful candidate will work therapeutically with our children, basing support on where they are functioning emotionally, developmentally and in accordance with their lived experiences. The role will cover five Assessments homes in the following areas: 1 home in Lutterworth 1 home in Burton Upon Trent 1 home in Telford 2 homes in The Peaks We think that our teams are the best in the industry - if you want to join us, there has never been a better time! Key Responsibilities As part of the clinical team, you will seek to provide needs, risk, and strengths-based assessments for young people in crisis. Your role will include: Providing specialist direct and indirect therapeutic assessment and intervention for children and adolescents Using a PACE informed approach to provide clinical consultations and training to our therapeutic care staff Completing therapeutic reports, clinical formulations and therapeutic care plans for the children we care for Working as part of a MDT and within a Team around the Child framework Supporting residential carers to build and connect with their key children from an attachment perspective and using principles underpinned by PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy Having knowledge of safeguarding and risk in relation to working with children and young people Providing consultation to residential care staff underpinned by a "brain-based", trauma informed approach Working therapeutically with children using a range of approaches dependent on what matches their needs and capacity to tolerate the work Making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice Providing training for residential care staff and other professionals within the organisation Skills, Knowledge and Expertise At least 2 years relevant experience post qualification Registration with HCPC or equivalent governing body Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly making complex information meaningful Demonstrable experience is supporting children in SEND, SEMH and/or LAC settings Motivation and commitment to your role, with a genuine passion and caring attitude for children who have experienced trauma A full, UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Benefits A friendly, supportive work environment Enrolment into Esland pension scheme Comprehensive training and support Fantastic opportunities for career development, we promoted over 50 colleagues last year Cycle to work scheme Monthly recognition awards Access to big-brand deals and discounts via our employee benefits scheme E-Together Access to a holiday home based in the Peak District where you can stay for free, on the company!
