Regional Growth Representative - Remote, Pacific or Mountain Time

For The Children intends to fill one Regional Growth Representative position. The position may be filled by an office-based employee in Orange County, California, or a remote employee residing in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone. Through Royal Family KIDS Camp and Mentoring, we mobilize churches and volunteers to serve children in foster care. Today more than 20,000 volunteers across 45 states and 9 countries reach over 7,500 children each year - and we want to equip even more churches to join this work. We are looking for a gifted relationship builder who can make this possible. The Opportunity The Regional Growth Representative develops relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, churches, and community partners throughout an assigned region. You will introduce leaders to the mission of For The Children, help them imagine how their church could serve children in foster care, and guide interested churches toward launching a Royal Family KIDS Camp or Mentoring program. This is a highly relational, externally facing role. You will often be the first person someone meets from For The Children—whether at a church, conference, community gathering, or introductory conversation. Your ability to listen well, communicate our mission, build trust, and inspire action will directly contribute to more children experiencing safe, positive, and life-changing relationships. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Church Engagement and serves as part of the Chapter Growth Department. What You’ll Do Build Meaningful Church and Community Partnerships Cultivate new relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, and other church decision-makers. Introduce churches to For The Children and the opportunities available through Royal Family KIDS Camp and Mentoring. Guide interested churches through the journey from initial conversation to becoming an active chapter. Maintain consistent follow-up and relationship management throughout the partnership-development process. Represent For The Children at local, regional, and national conferences, gatherings, and ministry events. Build relationships with foster care agencies, local government representatives, nonprofit organizations, and other community partners. Identify opportunities to expand awareness of and participation in For The Children’s mission. Support Healthy, Sustainable Chapters Participate in chapter and program visits throughout the assigned region. Facilitate local collaborative conversations that bring churches and community leaders together around the needs of children in foster care. Listen for emerging needs, opportunities, and barriers—and connect chapters with the appropriate support. Help cultivate long-term church engagement rather than one-time participation. Communicate and Equip Speak about For The Children’s mission in churches, conferences, and community settings. Adapt presentations and conversations for pastors, volunteers, ministry teams, and community leaders. Depending on experience and organizational needs, facilitate selected training events. Experience and Qualifications Experience in pastoral ministry, church engagement, partnership development, community outreach, nonprofit growth, or a related field is preferred. Bachelor’s degree, M.Div., or equivalent relevant experience preferred. Strong written, public-speaking, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize work, manage follow-up, and maintain accurate relationship records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning other digital collaboration and relationship-management tools. Alignment with the Christian mission and values of For The Children. Compensation and Work Location This position will work remotely and must be located within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones. The compensation range is $75,000 – 90,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and demonstrated capabilities. Schedule and Travel Approximately 30% travel, including regional and occasional national travel. Some evening and weekend availability is required for church meetings, conferences, program visits, and events. Must be able to transport and handle event or presentation materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available as required.
