As Regional Leader, you will play a critical role in guiding our Local Area Coordination teams, ensuring high quality, person-centred services are delivered across a diverse portfolio. Leading geographically dispersed teams and working closely with Area Managers, you will drive operational excellence, workforce capability and service quality, while building strong partnerships that enhance outcomes for participants, families and communities. This is an opportunity to combine strategic leadership with meaningful impact, helping Mission Australia continue to build hope and possibility for all. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead and support a geographically dispersed Local Area Coordination portfolio, , ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery. Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to Area Managers and service leaders, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Drive the achievement of contract outcomes, service targets and organisational priorities across the region. Ensure all services operate in line with regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements. Develop workforce plans that strengthen capability, support succession planning and address future service delivery needs. Manage regional budgets, financial performance and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and responsible stewardship of funding. Identify opportunities for innovation, growth and service improvement that enhance participant outcomes and operational efficiency. Champion a participant-centred approach that promotes choice, inclusion, independence and positive outcomes for people with disability. Requirements for success Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Human Services, Business, Leadership and Management, or a related discipline, alternatively extensive senior leadership experience within the human services, disability or community services sector. Demonstrated experience managing NDIS funded services and a strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards, Quality and Safeguards Framework, and participant-centred service delivery. Proven ability to lead, coach and develop senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams to achieve high levels of performance and engagement. Strong operational management capability, with experience delivering services against contractual, compliance, quality and performance requirements. Sound financial management experience, including responsibility for large and complex budgets, forecasting and resource allocation. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with government, funders, community partners, participants and families. Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to represent the organisation at a senior level.
