Regional Online Fundraiser Region 4 (AL, AR, KY, LA, MS, TN) Ducks Unlimited is seeking a Regional Online Fundraiser to support online fundraising efforts across Region 4, including Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The selected candidate will work remotely from within the assigned region, preferably in a location with reliable high-speed internet and strong wireless connectivity. This position will report directly to the Director of Non-Traditional Fundraising and Promotions. The anticipated start date will be a mutually agreed-upon date. JOB RESPONSIBILITY The Regional Online Fundraiser will support Ducks Unlimited volunteers and event fundraising field staff by helping plan, build, promote, and manage online fundraising campaigns, including online auctions, raffles, sweepstakes, and related digital fundraising initiatives. This position will work closely with state and regional volunteers, fundraising staff, and internal teams to grow online revenue opportunities and improve the overall digital fundraising experience for supporters. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, comfort with digital platforms, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns across several states. Periodic travel will be required for staff meetings, training, and key events. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Regional Online Fundraiser will be responsible for supporting and managing all facets of online fundraising within the assigned states. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working closely with DU volunteers and field staff to develop monthly and annual online fundraising schedules. Designing, building, launching, and managing online auctions and raffles through Ducks Unlimited fundraising platforms. Building and scheduling promotional content for online auctions, raffles, sweepstakes, and other digital fundraising campaigns. Helping manage, implement, and grow Ducks Unlimited online fundraising efforts across the assigned region. Managing post-campaign follow-up, reporting, fulfillment coordination, and campaign closeout tasks. Campaign planning, prize sourcing, donor communication, prize promotion, and launch timelines. Reviewing campaign content for accuracy, clarity, compliance, and brand consistency prior to launch. Coordinating with internal staff to ensure raffles, sweepstakes, auctions, and promotions follow applicable DU processes and legal or compliance requirements. Monitoring campaign performance and helping identify opportunities to improve participation, revenue, donor engagement, and volunteer adoption. Providing training, guidance, and ongoing support to volunteers and staff using online fundraising tools. Maintaining strong working relationships with regional directors, volunteers, donors, outfitters, sponsors, and other fundraising partners. Supporting digital marketing efforts through email, social media, text promotions, campaign landing pages, and other approved communication channels. Tracking key campaign details, including schedules, prize information, promotional plans, deadlines, contacts, and campaign results. QUALIFICATIONS A four-year degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Volunteer experience with nonprofit organizations will benefit candidates, and experience with Ducks Unlimited is highly desired. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable accepting challenging goals. This position requires the ability to build and manage positive relationships with volunteers and staff, with an emphasis on professional verbal and written communication. Candidates must be proficient with a personal computer, have basic skills in Microsoft Office applications, and be comfortable working with internet-based systems and fundraising platforms. Strong knowledge of social media, email marketing, digital promotions, and online fundraising strategies is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to learn and use Ducks Unlimited's standardized information systems and fundraising platforms. Candidates must also be willing to work outside of the typical workday and workweek throughout the year, especially during campaign launches, peak fundraising periods, and event-related deadlines. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience coordinating online auctions, raffles, sweepstakes, peer-to-peer campaigns, or digital fundraising programs. Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, volunteer-led events, donor engagement, or conservation-related fundraising. Experience writing promotional copy for email, social media, text campaigns, or fundraising pages. Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing campaign rules, prize descriptions, donor language, and online listings. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and campaigns across several states at one time. Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected with staff and volunteers. Experience using CRM systems, fundraising software, content management platforms, email marketing tools, or project tracking systems. Ability to analyze campaign results and use performance data to improve future fundraising efforts. A working knowledge of Ducks Unlimited's mission, volunteer structure, event fundraising model, and conservation priorities. LOCATION AND TRAVEL Remote within the assigned region, with dependable high-speed internet and reliable phone service. Air travel will be required periodically for staff meetings, training, and other organizational needs. WORK SCHEDULE This position will require flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work. Online fundraising campaigns often require support outside traditional office hours, particularly during campaign launches, closing periods, raffle drawings, event deadlines, and time-sensitive promotional windows.
