Description OVERVIEW : McKim & Creed is seeking an experienced Regional Program Manager – Asset Management & Smart Utility Solutions to lead the growth, delivery, and advancement of asset management, smart utility, and digital infrastructure services across Texas and the Southeastern United States. This leadership role combines program management, client relationship management, business development, and technical leadership. The successful candidate will support strategic growth initiatives while serving as Program and Project Manager and trusted advisor for key utility clients. The position focuses on helping utilities improve infrastructure performance, operational efficiency, and long-term decision-making through asset management, condition assessment, GIS, operational technologies, analytics, and digital solutions DURING YOUR WORK-DAY, YOU WILL: Business Development & Client Leadership Support growth of Asset Management and Smart Utility Solutions services across target markets. Develop and maintain relationships with utility clients, regional authorities, engineering partners, and technology providers. Identify opportunities related to asset management, wet weather programs, rehabilitation planning, GIS, analytics, and smart utility technologies. Lead proposals, presentations, interviews, and strategic pursuits. Represent McKim & Creed at industry conferences, associations, and client events. Program & Project Management Serve as Program Manager or Project Manager for major infrastructure and utility modernization initiatives. Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations. Oversee development of asset management programs, condition assessments, risk-based planning, rehabilitation strategies, and capital improvement programs. Serve as executive client lead for key accounts and strategic initiatives. Asset Management & Technology Solutions Guide development and implementation of asset management strategies that improve reliability, resiliency, and operational performance. Support integration of GIS, asset management platforms, operational technologies, analytics, and digital solutions. Advance data-driven decision-making through performance monitoring, predictive analytics, and emerging utility technologies. Evaluate and implement innovative tools and services that enhance client value and operational effectiveness. Operations & Team Leadership Support annual business planning, forecasting, resource management, and project financial performance. Mentor and develop engineers, GIS specialists, project managers, analysts, and technical staff. Foster collaboration across engineering, field services, GIS, and technology teams. Promote a culture of safety, quality, innovation, accountability, and exceptional client service. Regional Responsibilities Primary focus on Texas and the Southeastern United States. Support strategic initiatives nationwide. Travel as needed for client meetings, project delivery, business development, and industry events. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, or utility infrastructure. Minimum 5 years of experience leading programs, projects, or multidisciplinary teams. Experience in asset management, condition assessment, utility operations, rehabilitation planning, or related infrastructure services. Demonstrated success in project delivery, client management, and business development. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT: Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or PMP certification. Experience with GIS, SCADA, enterprise asset management systems, operational technologies, and utility analytics. Knowledge of Digital Twin, IoT, cloud-based analytics, and AI-enabled infrastructure management solutions. Experience with wet weather, collection system, or utility operations programs.
