Business Development Manager

Offshore & Marine Technology | Norway | NOK 900,000–1,000,000 + Bonus

A leading international engineering and technology business is continuing to invest in its commercial team and is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the Nordic region.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established Nordic territory, developing relationships with customers across offshore energy, marine engineering and industrial technology.

You will be combining new business development with strategic account growth, working alongside engineering specialists to deliver complex solutions into demanding offshore and industrial environments.

This role would suit someone looking to step into a broader regional position with greater ownership, autonomy and long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities throughout Norway, with additional responsibility across the wider Nordic region.
• Build relationships with engineering companies, offshore operators, shipowners, contractors and industrial customers.
• Identify future projects and convert opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to commercial agreement.
• Work closely with technical and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events.

About You

• Demonstrable success in technical B2B sales or business development.
• Experience selling technical products, engineered systems or complex solutions into offshore, marine, subsea or industrial markets.
• A proven ability to identify, develop and win new business opportunities.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable engaging with both commercial and technical decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, energetic and commercially driven.
• Fluent Norwegian and strong English communication skills.
