The Regional Sales Engineer – Eastern Europe serves as the primary point of contact for Ruhrpumpen’s sales and customer support activities within the assigned territory. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships through direct sales and distributor channels. The position focuses on both new equipment sales (projects, replacements, duplicates) and aftermarket services (parts, service, repair, and upgrades), ensuring profitable business growth and long-term customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage the assigned territory and act as the main interface for all sales and customer support activities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue, market share, and profitability. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key accounts and distribution partners. Drive new equipment sales opportunities, including project-based, replacement, and duplicate pump solutions. Promote aftermarket services, including parts, maintenance, repair, and upgrades. Understand customer needs and translate them into tailored technical and commercial solutions. Proactively identify business opportunities and create territory-specific business plans. Deliver professional presentations and communicate value propositions to all levels within customer organizations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction. Utilize CRM and quotation tools to manage pipeline, prepare proposals, and track sales performance. Optimize territory coverage through regular customer visits and management engagement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field preferred). Previous experience in industrial sales, preferably within pumps, rotating equipment, or fluid handling solutions. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn pump sizing and selection. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and achieve growth targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at multiple organizational levels. Strong business acumen and understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. Experience working with distributors and managing key accounts is preferred. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to work independently and proactively within a defined territory. Willingness to travel within the region as required.
