Title: Regional Sales Manager - Germany & Benelux

Area to be covered: Germany and Benelux (fully remote position)

A major European transport company with a strong footprint in road and intermodal transport across the continent.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and developing customer relationships across the German and Benelux markets.
• Owning and growing a portfolio of customers with a focus on long-term relationship management.
• Reporting into the Northern European Commercial Director.
• Working closely with clients on transport and intermodal solutions.
• Supporting account retention, development and renewal activity.
• Potentially managing other people, depending on the final structure of the role.
• Working independently from a home-based setup and on the road meeting clients while remaining closely aligned to the wider commercial team.
• Contributing to new business generation in the priority German and Benelux market.
• Representing the business in a commercially credible and customer-focused way.

Requirements:

• Around 10-15 years’ experience in transport, logistics or intermodal environments.
• Strong sales background with a clear focus on customer management and commercial development.
• MUST have experience in BOTH intermodal and transport sales.
• MUST currently be at a transportation/intermodal organization.
• Experience managing customer relationships in a competitive logistics market.
• People-management capability would be an advantage.
• MUST be currently based in Germany or the Benelux region, with Germany the strongest preference.
• Comfortable in a fully remote, home-based role.
• Strong commercial mindset and the ability to work with pace.
• Suitable for someone who can operate independently and take ownership quickly.
