We are looking for an experienced and forward‑thinking Regulatory & Environmental Compliance Specialist to lead regulatory and environmental compliance for all Nureva products across global markets. This highly collaborative role is critical to ensuring our products meet current requirements while anticipating emerging legislation and compliance trends, helping remove barriers to both existing and new markets. Combining strong technical expertise with proactive planning and clear communication, you will develop, optimize, and execute Nureva’s compliance strategies. You will work closely with cross‑functional internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle. You will: Lead and continuously improve Nureva’s regulatory and environmental compliance programs, ensuring products meet global requirements while anticipating evolving legislation and market expectations. Act as the internal expert on global regulatory standards and certifications, including EMI/EMC, safety, mechanical, electrical, and related compliance domains. Plan and manage regulatory testing and certification activities, including test plans and submissions through approvals, renewals, and recertification, that are aligned with product development schedules. Build and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and test laboratories to optimize timelines and leverage regional regulatory overlaps. Maintain all compliance documentation and records, including Technical Construction Files (TCFs), product markings, packaging symbols, and audit‑ready documentation. Assess the compliance impact of engineering changes, certification updates, and environmental regulations throughout the product lifecycle. Lead environmental compliance efforts, including requirements such as RoHS, REACH, POP, TSCA, California Prop 65, battery, packaging, and Ecodesign regulations, partnering with external consultants as needed. Collaborate across Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturers to educate stakeholders, implement requirements, support factory audits, and ensure compliance expectations are clearly understood and met. You have: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in regulatory and environmental compliance for hardware products in global markets. Strong working knowledge of international regulatory and environmental standards and certification processes. Experience working with regulatory bodies, test labs, and external compliance consultants. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across cross‑functional teams. A proactive, detail‑oriented, and solutions‑focused approach to compliance challenges. Comfort working in a dynamic environment with evolving regulations and product requirements. We offer a competitive total compensation package with some unique perks and benefits, an open and collaborative office in downtown Calgary, and a great team environment. This role operates in a hybrid work environment, with regular in-office presence expected to support collaboration and team connection. Apply online at nureva.com by close of business on May 8, 2026 . Please outline how you will make a difference as part of our team. If selected for an interview, we will spend time helping you understand the role and our company to ensure it is a good mutual fit.
