Release Engineer at BairesDev

As a Release Engineer, you will own the software release process, ensuring seamless delivery through automated and reliable deployment pipelines. You will act as the orchestrator of the release lifecycle, balancing the need for rapid innovation with the imperative of system stability and quality.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines and rollback strategies to ensure consistent software delivery.
• Coordinate release cadences and schedules across cross-functional engineering teams to manage dependencies and minimize production risks.
• Oversee the implementation and management of feature flags to enable controlled releases and rapid experimentation.
• Develop and maintain version control best practices and branching strategies to ensure code integrity across environments.
• Monitor release metrics and optimize processes to improve deployment efficiency, reliability, and mean time to recovery.
• Collaborate with developers and operations to define release standards and maintain comprehensive documentation for complex delivery workflows.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in owning and optimizing the end-to-end release process and deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in managing rollback strategies and implementing feature flags to ensure system stability.
• Hands-on experience defining and managing release cadences for large-scale engineering organizations.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD best practices and automated software delivery workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
