We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced business strategy and management professionals with strong expertise in strategic planning, business analysis, organisational decision-making, operations, and management consulting. This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials related to business strategy and management. Selected experts will assess outputs for analytical accuracy, strategic soundness, commercial relevance, practical feasibility, presentation quality, and overall professional credibility. Key Responsibilities Business Strategy Evaluate strategic plans, business recommendations, and management work products for quality and accuracy Assess whether strategic conclusions are supported by appropriate evidence and analysis Identify weak assumptions, unsupported recommendations, and gaps in strategic reasoning Review business priorities, objectives, and proposed courses of action Apply professional judgement grounded in real-world strategy and management experience Strategic Planning & Decision-Making Review plans involving growth, organisational priorities, market positioning, and resource allocation Assess whether proposed initiatives align with stated business objectives Evaluate trade-offs between alternative strategic options Identify execution risks, dependencies, and unrealistic assumptions Review whether recommendations are practical and internally consistent Business Analysis Evaluate analyses involving business performance, operating models, markets, customers, or organisational issues Review assumptions, calculations, and supporting evidence Assess whether conclusions logically follow from the available information Identify analytical gaps, inconsistent reasoning, or incomplete problem definition Evaluate the usefulness of recommendations for business decision-making Management & Organisational Review Review scenarios involving management structures, responsibilities, processes, and organisational priorities Assess proposed approaches to coordination, accountability, and execution Evaluate whether management recommendations are realistic and appropriately supported Identify gaps in ownership, implementation planning, or stakeholder alignment Review organisational decisions for practical business impact Operations & Performance Evaluate business operations plans and performance-improvement recommendations Review workflows, resource requirements, processes, and execution assumptions Assess whether proposed changes address underlying operational issues Evaluate relevant performance indicators and management metrics Identify trade-offs involving efficiency, cost, quality, and organisational priorities Financial & Commercial Reasoning Review business cases, forecasts, budgets, and commercially oriented analyses where relevant Assess whether financial assumptions and strategic conclusions are internally consistent Evaluate revenue, cost, investment, and resource-allocation considerations Identify unsupported commercial assumptions or analytical weaknesses Review whether proposed strategies appropriately reflect business constraints Documents & Presentation Review Evaluate strategy documents, business reports, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness Review executive and stakeholder presentations for clarity, structure, and decision usefulness Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issues Assess whether charts, tables, and visuals accurately represent underlying information Ensure recommendations are clearly connected to the supporting analysis Structured Evaluation & Feedback Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria Identify strategic, managerial, analytical, factual, and presentation weaknesses Distinguish substantive business issues from minor editorial concerns Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses Apply evaluation standards consistently across different business and management work products Ideal Profile 5+ years of relevant professional experience in business strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business analysis, operations management, or a closely related field Experience as a Business Strategist, Management Consultant, Strategy Consultant, Business Analyst, Operations Manager , or similar professional Strong practical understanding of strategic planning, organisational decision-making, business analysis, and management processes Experience developing or reviewing business plans, strategy documents, analyses, operating plans, or executive presentations Ability to evaluate strategic recommendations for analytical soundness, commercial relevance, and practical feasibility Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills Native or professional fluency in English Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback Strong attention to strategic, analytical, operational, and presentation detail Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous Engagement Details Part-time independent contractor engagement Fully remote Flexible scheduling based on
