Job Summary AGA is seeking a Data Analyst I to support the business by extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to identify trends and inform decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards. Primary Responsibilities: Data Extraction & Cleaning : Gather data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through cleaning, validation, and transformation. Reporting & Dashboard Development : Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis : Respond to ad-hoc data requests from business stakeholders, providing timely and accurate reports based on user requests. Documentation : Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility. Collaboration with Business Stakeholders : Partner with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions. Support Financial Forecasting : Assist in the development and refinement of financial forecasting models by providing data analysis and insights. Process Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting processes to improve operational efficiency. Primary Skills & Requirements: Education : Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field. Experience : 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or related role. Programming Proficiency : Working knowledge of at least one programming language for data analysis (Python, R, or similar tool). Database Skills : Knowledge of database & data warehouse structure, experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation a plus. Data Visualization : Strong skills in Microsoft Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations. Analytical Skills : Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
