Remote Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain database systems to ensure their reliability and performance. Monitor database performance and implement enhancements as necessary. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data. Backup and restore databases to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with development teams to support database-related queries and issues. Document database processes and provide training to staff on best practices. Requirements Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Familiarity with cloud database solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently. Nice to have Experience with NoSQL databases. Knowledge of database security protocols. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. Certifications in database management or related fields.
