Apply Job Type Full-time Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Remote Diagnostic Audiologist provides remote diagnostic audiology services to our partnering ENT practices. This role will work with an onsite MA or equivalent providing comprehensive audiology evaluations including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, video otoscopy, and immittance testing as well as initial fitting of air conduction hearing devices. Key Responsibilities: · Works with the ENT Clinic Staff to provide diagnostic audiology services as directed by the ENT group including: o Pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and immittance testing. · Initial “first-fit” of Air Conduction hearing aids including use and care counseling. · Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to assess and analyze auditory function. · Chart notes in ENT EMR, write reports as appropriate including making a recommendation to the ENT as to next audiology steps. · Communicate assessment findings to patients in a clear and empathetic manner as directed by ENT. · Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system. Requirements: · Minimum Master’s Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution. · State licensure and certification as a Diagnostic Audiologist. · Experience with telehealth technology and remote patient care is preferred · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
