We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced education professionals across K–12 and higher education, curriculum development, instructional design, assessment, special education, tutoring, and educational technology. This role supports advanced AI training and evaluation work focused on real-world educational practice. Selected professionals will translate teaching, assessment, curriculum, and instructional decision-making into structured tasks and examples, evaluate AI-generated educational content, and provide expert feedback grounded in practical education experience. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Educational Task Design Develop realistic educational scenarios based on day-to-day teaching and instructional workflows Create tasks involving lesson planning, student feedback, grading, differentiation, intervention, and instructional decision-making Design examples that reflect how experienced educators approach practical classroom challenges Adapt tasks to different grade levels, subject areas, and educational settings Ensure educational scenarios are realistic, clear, and pedagogically appropriate Curriculum & Instructional Design Develop and evaluate curriculum, unit, and lesson-design tasks Assess instructional materials for structure, learning objectives, and grade-level appropriateness Review alignment with relevant academic and curriculum standards Evaluate differentiation strategies, accommodations, and instructional interventions Apply professional judgement to curriculum and learning-design decisions Assessment & Student Evaluation Create and review assessment items, rubrics, grading exercises, and student-evaluation tasks Evaluate AI-generated assessments for accuracy, fairness, clarity, and appropriate difficulty Review grading decisions against defined rubrics and learning objectives Assess student feedback for usefulness, specificity, and instructional value Contribute expertise in assessment design, psychometrics, or educational measurement where relevant AI Evaluation & Quality Review Review and compare AI-generated educational outputs for accuracy and pedagogical quality Assess standards alignment, grade-level suitability, instructional effectiveness, and completeness Identify factual, instructional, or reasoning errors within model-generated content Provide clear written feedback explaining strengths, weaknesses, and required improvements Help refine evaluation criteria and improve consistency across educational AI tasks Special Education & Academic Support Contribute expertise in IEPs, accommodations, differentiated instruction, and student-support strategies where relevant Develop scenarios involving individualised learning needs and academic interventions Evaluate recommendations for appropriateness within different educational contexts Review AI-generated support strategies using practical professional judgement Apply expertise from tutoring, academic support, special education, or related fields as applicable Ideal Profile 3+ years of professional experience in education, including K–12 or higher-education teaching, curriculum development, instructional design, assessment, special education, tutoring, or a related field Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject-matter discipline Strong understanding of teaching, learning, assessment, and instructional decision-making Familiarity with relevant academic standards such as Common Core, NGSS, state standards, or discipline-specific frameworks Comfortable using common educational platforms and tools such as Google Classroom, Canvas, PowerSchool, assessment systems, or curriculum platforms Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to explain educational reasoning clearly and evaluate the quality of instructional content State teaching certification, National Board Certification, or an advanced degree such as an MEd, EdD, PhD, or subject-specific master's is advantageous Experience with curriculum review, assessment development, instructional coaching, or educational content evaluation is highly valued Engagement Details Part-time independent contractor engagement Fully remote Flexible scheduling Compensation: $40–$55/hour Open to professionals across education specialties and grade levels Project work may include task design, AI output evaluation, and structured educational feedback Strong contributors may be considered for reviewer, lead, or domain-expert responsibilities Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, school, student, client, institution, or other third party H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
