About the Role

We're looking for energetic and reliable English Conversation Mentors who enjoy working with children and making learning fun. In this role, you'll teach live online English lessons using Nao Now's curriculum, encourage students to speak confidently, and create a supportive virtual classroom where every learner feels comfortable participating.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Lessons

• Conduct engaging live English lessons for children in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Use Nao Now's curriculum and teaching materials to deliver structured, interactive classes.
• Encourage active participation through conversation, games, and age-appropriate activities.
• Adjust your teaching approach to meet each student's learning needs and proficiency level.

Encourage Student Success

• Build students' confidence by creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Support the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Provide thoughtful lesson feedback and monitor student progress.
• Help students develop a genuine interest in learning English.

Maintain Professional Standards

• Maintain a consistent teaching schedule and arrive prepared for every class.
• Complete lesson feedback accurately and on time.
• Follow Nao Now's teaching standards and maintain professionalism in every interaction.
• Communicate effectively with the Nao Now team when needed.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native English proficiency with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or working with children is preferred.
• Passion for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and digital educational tools.
• Patient, dependable, adaptable, and enthusiastic.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Quiet, professional workspace suitable for online teaching.
• Computer or laptop with a webcam and headset.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or similar teaching certifications are an advantage.

Compensation

• Equivalent to $20 USD per teaching hour.
• Payment is made per completed 25-minute lesson.
• Compensation is determined by qualifications, experience, and evaluation performance.
• Curriculum and teaching resources are fully provided.
• No unpaid lesson preparation required.
• Training and onboarding are unpaid.

Schedule Requirements

• Minimum availability of 10 teaching hours per week.
• Available during Monday through Friday, 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM KST (Korea Standard Time).
• Minimum 3-month commitment.
• Consistent weekly teaching availability is required.
