We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate, and real estate matters. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with strong drafting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a remote work environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, edit, and process estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and other advanced planning documents.
  • Prepare and coordinate real estate documentation, including deeds and related legal documents.
  • Draft probate and trust administration filings, including petitions, notices, inventories, accountings, creditor claims, proposed distributions, and other court documents.
  • Support estate and trust administration by preparing fiduciary documents, court pleadings, and required legal filings.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines related to probate proceedings, court filings, tax filings, hearings, and other legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on estate administration matters, including tax filings, trustee succession documentation, certificates of trust, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist with contested probate and trust matters, including litigation support, discovery coordination, court filings, and hearing preparation.
  • Gather financial, tax, and asset information required for estate and trust administration.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, beneficiaries, financial advisors, court personnel, taxing authorities, and opposing counsel.
  • Coordinate document exchange and maintain organized client and matter files.
  • Accurately record billable time for assigned tasks.
  • Participate in team meetings, workflow planning, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Delegate appropriate administrative tasks when necessary.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting estate planning, probate, and/or trust administration.
  • Strong knowledge of probate court procedures, trust administration, and legal documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Word.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred.
  • Experience using case management systems, document management platforms, and electronic filing systems is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles is a plus.

Compensation: $15–$20 USD/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time | Remote
