Remote | Financial Services Compliance & Regulatory Specialist — $70–$110/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced financial services compliance and regulatory professionals with strong expertise in regulatory analysis, compliance review, risk assessment, and regulatory response materials. This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials related to financial services compliance and regulatory matters. Selected experts will assess outputs for regulatory accuracy, analytical rigour, evidentiary quality, practical relevance, presentation effectiveness, and overall professional credibility. Key Responsibilities Financial Services Compliance Evaluate compliance-related work products for accuracy, completeness, and professional quality Assess whether analyses appropriately reflect relevant financial-services regulatory considerations Identify unsupported conclusions, compliance gaps, and inconsistencies Review recommendations for regulatory and operational soundness Apply professional judgement grounded in real-world financial services compliance experience Regulatory Analysis & Response Review regulatory analyses, response materials, and supporting documentation Assess whether regulatory questions and requirements are addressed clearly and comprehensively Evaluate the quality of reasoning and evidence supporting proposed responses Identify omissions, unsupported interpretations, or inconsistencies Review materials for clarity, accuracy, and professional credibility Compliance Risk Assessment Evaluate analyses involving compliance and regulatory risk Review risk identification, prioritisation, and supporting rationale Assess whether conclusions appropriately reflect available evidence Identify overlooked risks, weak assumptions, or incomplete analyses Evaluate recommendations for practical relevance and internal consistency Regulatory Documentation Review compliance reports, regulatory submissions, internal analyses, and related work products Assess consistency of facts, terminology, findings, and recommendations across materials Identify documentation gaps or conflicting information Evaluate whether key regulatory considerations are communicated clearly Review supporting evidence for completeness and decision usefulness Financial & Operational Analysis Evaluate spreadsheets and analyses supporting compliance or regulatory decisions Review calculations, assumptions, metrics, and supporting information Assess whether underlying data supports stated findings and recommendations Identify analytical inconsistencies or unsupported conclusions Evaluate the clarity and usability of quantitative work products Documents & Presentation Review Evaluate compliance documents, regulatory materials, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness Review presentations for logical flow, clarity, and professional quality Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issues Assess whether charts, tables, and visuals accurately represent underlying information Ensure findings and recommendations are clearly supported by the available evidence Structured Evaluation & Feedback Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria Identify regulatory, compliance, analytical, factual, and presentation weaknesses Distinguish substantive compliance issues from minor editorial concerns Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses Apply evaluation standards consistently across different financial-services compliance work products Ideal Profile 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial services compliance, regulatory affairs, compliance analysis, risk, or a closely related field Experience as a Compliance Officer, Financial Compliance Analyst, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Risk Analyst , or similar professional Strong practical understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory response Experience developing or reviewing compliance analyses, regulatory materials, risk assessments, reports, or related work products Ability to evaluate regulatory conclusions for accuracy, evidentiary support, and practical soundness Strong analytical judgement and attention to compliance and regulatory detail Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills Native or professional fluency in English Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous Engagement Details Part-time independent contractor engagement Fully remote Flexible scheduling based on project requirements Compensation: $70–$110/hour Work includes evaluation of financial-services compliance materials, regulatory analyses, response documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentation materials Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
