Job Description:

Workato Integration Developer Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Workato Integration Developer to support enterprise integration and digital transformation initiatives.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Workato recipes that connect ERP systems (SAP/HANA/E-Commerce), business applications, data platforms on GCP (especially BigQuery), RPA bots, APIs, and partner systems.

The developer will also leverage Python snippets within Workato to implement complex data transformations, custom business logic, and efficient processing of large datasets while ensuring stable, secure, and high‑performance data flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze integration requirements with business and technical teams (SAP, Data, RPA, Applications, Infrastructure).
• Design, develop, and deploy Workato recipes integrating ERP systems, internal applications, APIs, and data platforms.
• Build automated workflows across multiple systems (apps, APIs, files, email, chat, and RPA).
• Integrate on‑premise and cloud systems using REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and file-based interfaces.
• Implement Python snippets in Workato for complex transformations, validations, and custom logic.
• Design data mapping and transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and relational data sources.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across integrated systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization for recipes.
• Collaborate with data teams to integrate with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
• Follow security, compliance, and access control standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, solution design, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications Workato & Integration Experience

• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms.
• Experience building and operating production integration workflows.
• Familiarity with connectors, callable recipes, error handling, and governance features. Python & Automation
• Strong Python skills for data processing, transformation, and automation.
• Experience using Python snippets or scripts in integration workflows. Integration & API Knowledge
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, applications, data warehouses).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication methods, pagination, and rate limiting.
• Experience working with JSON, XML, CSV, and relational databases.
• Solid SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, or similar). Cloud & Data Platforms
• Experience integrating with cloud platforms; GCP experience is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of IAM, service accounts, networking basics, and secure integrations. Ways of Working
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Data, SAP, Security, Infrastructure, Product). Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating SAP/HANA or ERP systems with BigQuery or data warehouses.
• Exposure to GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with data integration tools (Fivetrans, HVR, CDC/ETL platforms).
• Experience with RPA automation and file-based workflow integrations.
• Certifications in Workato Foundation 1,2,3, GCP, or Azure are a plus.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries is advantageous. Personal Attributes
