This role focuses on reviewing operational management content and workflows across realistic business scenarios. Selected professionals will assess operational plans, staff schedules, performance reviews, and management decisions for accuracy, feasibility, financial discipline, and overall professional quality. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Review Evaluate operational plans and management workflows for quality and feasibility Assess whether proposed decisions appropriately reflect business objectives and operational constraints Identify unrealistic assumptions, missing dependencies, and execution risks Review coordination across multiple departments or business functions Apply practical judgement grounded in real-world operations leadership Staffing & Workforce Management Review staffing plans, schedules, resource allocations, and workforce decisions Assess whether staffing levels align with workload and operational requirements Identify scheduling conflicts, capacity issues, and inefficient resource allocation Evaluate performance-management and workforce-improvement recommendations Review trade-offs involving staffing cost, service levels, and operational continuity Budgeting & Financial Oversight Evaluate operating budgets, cost assumptions, and financial plans Assess whether spending decisions are commercially and operationally sound Review financial implications of staffing, expansion, process, and resource decisions Identify inconsistencies between operational objectives and available budgets Evaluate opportunities for cost control and operational efficiency Multi-Department & Multi-Location Operations Review scenarios involving coordination across departments, sites, or business units Assess workflows, responsibilities, dependencies, and escalation processes Evaluate whether operating models support consistent execution at scale Identify cross-functional bottlenecks and organisational inefficiencies Review decisions affecting multiple teams or locations Performance & Process Improvement Evaluate performance reviews, operating metrics, and improvement plans Assess whether proposed interventions address the underlying operational issue Review KPIs and performance measures for relevance and usefulness Identify weak assumptions or unsupported improvement recommendations Evaluate process changes for practicality, scalability, and likely impact Comparative Management Evaluation Compare alternative operational responses or management approaches Assess outputs based on operational soundness, financial rigour, and cross-department feasibility Identify meaningful differences between stronger and weaker approaches Determine whether recommendations reflect realistic management constraints Provide clear reasoning supporting evaluation decisions Structured Evaluation & Feedback Review management work products for accuracy and professional quality Identify substantive operational, financial, staffing, and execution weaknesses Distinguish material management issues from minor presentation concerns Provide precise, evidence-based written feedback Apply evaluation standards consistently across assignments Ideal Profile 4+ years of relevant professional experience in general management, operations management, business management, or a closely related role Experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, Operations Director, Business Manager, District Manager , or similar operations leader Demonstrated experience directing multi-department or multi-location operations Strong hands-on experience with budgeting, staffing, performance oversight, and workflow coordination Ability to evaluate operational decisions from both financial and execution perspectives Strong cross-functional management and problem-solving skills Strong written English communication skills Ability to work independently and provide precise professional feedback Engagement Details Part-time independent contractor engagement Fully remote Availability of 20+ hours per week Immediate start Initial project duration of approximately 4–6 weeks Compensation: $60–$100/hour for hourly project work The initial assignment is task-based; contributors who successfully complete and receive approval for their first task may then qualify for hourly work for the remainder of the project Work includes evaluation of operational plans, staffing schedules, performance reviews, budgets, and related management scenarios Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
