Remote | Healthcare Operations Manager — $60–$100/hour

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced healthcare management professionals with strong expertise in clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, compliance, records management, and healthcare programme delivery. This role focuses on reviewing healthcare operations content and management workflows across realistic clinical and administrative scenarios. Selected professionals will assess operational plans, staffing decisions, compliance reviews, and healthcare-management recommendations for accuracy, feasibility, regulatory awareness, and overall professional quality. Key Responsibilities Healthcare Operations Review Evaluate healthcare operations plans for quality, accuracy, and practical feasibility Assess whether operational decisions appropriately reflect clinical-service requirements Review workflows across hospitals, clinics, managed care organisations, public health agencies, or similar environments Identify unrealistic assumptions, operational gaps, and execution risks Apply practical judgement grounded in real-world healthcare management experience Clinical Services Management Review scenarios involving the coordination and delivery of clinical services Assess staffing, capacity, scheduling, and service-delivery considerations Evaluate whether operational decisions support safe and effective patient care Identify weaknesses in service coordination or resource allocation Review recommendations for improving clinical-service performance Staffing & Personnel Administration Evaluate staff assignments, workforce plans, and personnel-management decisions Assess whether staffing levels and skill mix align with operational requirements Review scheduling, coverage, workload, and escalation considerations Identify workforce constraints that could affect service delivery Evaluate management approaches involving performance, coordination, and staffing efficiency Budgeting & Resource Management Review healthcare budgets, operating assumptions, and resource-allocation decisions Assess financial implications of staffing, programme, and operational choices Evaluate trade-offs between cost, capacity, service quality, and organisational requirements Identify financially unrealistic or poorly supported recommendations Review whether resource plans align with operational priorities Compliance & Healthcare Administration Evaluate scenarios involving healthcare policies, compliance processes, and administrative requirements Assess whether proposed workflows appropriately reflect regulatory and organisational obligations Identify gaps in documentation, oversight, escalation, or compliance controls Review operational recommendations for consistency with healthcare-management standards Distinguish substantive compliance issues from minor administrative concerns Health Information & Records Management Review scenarios involving patient records, health information, documentation, and administrative data Assess records-management workflows for accuracy, completeness, and operational soundness Identify inconsistencies or weaknesses in information-handling processes Evaluate coordination between records systems and clinical or administrative teams Apply practical judgement to healthcare information-management scenarios Programme Planning & Performance Improvement Evaluate programme plans, operational initiatives, and performance-improvement recommendations Review objectives, milestones, staffing needs, budgets, and implementation considerations Assess whether proposed interventions address the underlying operational issue Evaluate performance measures and management reporting Identify gaps between programme goals and execution plans Comparative Healthcare Management Evaluation Compare alternative healthcare-management responses or approaches Assess outputs based on operational soundness, regulatory compliance, and clinical-service feasibility Identify meaningful differences between stronger and weaker approaches Determine whether recommendations reflect realistic healthcare-management constraints Provide clear reasoning supporting evaluation decisions Structured Evaluation & Feedback Review healthcare management work products for accuracy and professional quality Identify substantive operational, staffing, financial, compliance, and administrative weaknesses Distinguish material healthcare-management issues from minor presentation concerns Provide concise, evidence-based written feedback Apply evaluation standards consistently across assignments Ideal Profile 4+ years of relevant professional experience in healthcare management, clinical operations, healthcare administration, or a closely related role Experience as a Healthcare Operations Manager, Clinical Director, Nurse Manager, Nursing Director, Health Information Manager , or similar healthcare-management professional Demonstrated experience directing or coordinating medical and health services Relevant experience within hospitals, clinics, managed care organisations, public health agencies , or comparable healthcare settings Strong experience with staffing, budgeting, compliance, records management, and programme planning Ability to evaluate healthcare operations from both clinical-service and administrative perspectives Strong operational judgement and attention to detail Strong written English communication skills Ability to work independently and provide precise professional feedback Engagement Details Part-time independent contractor engagement Fully remote Availability of 20+ hours per week Immediate start Initial project duration of approximately 4–6 weeks Compensation: $60–$100/hour for hourly project work The initial assignment is task-based; contributors who successfully complete and receive approval for their first task may then qualify for hourly work for the remainder of the project Work includes evaluation of healthcare operations plans, staff assignments, compliance reviews, budgeting, records management, and programme-planning scenarios Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded
