Remote Medical Coder - ICD/CPT & Hospital Coding

Role: Medical Coder in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities: Assign ICD-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes; determine MS-DRGs and APCs; collaborate with physicians and staff to document coding needs; train new staff; ensure accurate and compliant coding for reimbursement.

Qualifications: HS diploma; professional credentials such as CCA, CPC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCS-H.

Skills: Strong knowledge of medical coding procedures, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively. The role offers remote work options for Illinois residents and on-site work as needed.
