Position: Medical Interpreter

Work Mode: Remote

Interpretation Modes: OPI (Over-the-Phone) & VRI (Video Remote Interpretation)

We are hiring consecutive medical interpreters to facilitate accurate communication between healthcare providers and patients.

OPEN LANGUAGES & PAY

🇪🇸 Spanish ↔ English — 7 openings | $0.10/min ($6/hr TalkTime)

🇦🇫 Dari ↔ English — 3 openings | $0.15/min ($9/hr TalkTime)

🇧🇷 Portuguese ↔ English — 3 openings | $0.13/min ($7.80/hr TalkTime)

🇸🇦 Arabic ↔ English — 3 openings | $0.15/min ($9/hr TalkTime)

🇨🇳 Mandarin ↔ English — 10 openings | $0.20/min ($12/hr TalkTime)

🇭🇰 Cantonese ↔ English — 10 openings | $0.20/min ($12/hr TalkTime)

🇰🇷 Korean ↔ English — 10 openings | $0.20/min ($12/hr TalkTime)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation during medical conversations.

• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.

• Interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and healthcare information.

• Provide interpretation through both OPI and VRI.

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality.

• Follow professional and ethical standards for medical interpretation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluency in English and at least one of the listed languages.

• Previous interpretation experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare-related conversations.

• Strong communication and listening skills.

• Cultural sensitivity and professionalism.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Availability for both OPI and VRI interpretation.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Reliable internet connection with minimum 10 Mbps download and upload speed.

• PC/Laptop — 5th Generation or newer.

• Minimum 4 GB RAM.

• USB headset.

• LAN/Ethernet connection.

• HD webcam.

• Quiet, professional workspace suitable for confidential medical conversations.

TRAINING

• Duration: 5 days

• 1–2 hours per day

• Training is unpaid.

• Training begins September 2026 onward.

• Candidates who pass the assessment can proceed to work.
