Remote Power Supply Engineer

Job Title:REMOTE Power Supply Engineer Job Description The Power Supply Engineer will design a power supply with an average input power of around 100 watts, accommodating both AC and DC inputs, and optimizing for efficiency. The role involves working with an output voltage range of 24-80 volts and handling three-phase AC input. The design must comply with MIL-STD-704F, although prior experience with this specific standard is not mandatory. Responsibilities Design and develop power supplies with 100W average input power. Optimize power supply designs for maximum efficiency. Work with input power specifications including single-phase and three-phase 115VAC 400 Hz, and 28 VDC. Design dual output power supplies with 24VDC and 80VDC outputs. Collaborate with a team to ensure designs meet required standards and specifications. Ensure compliance with military standards, with guidance available for those unfamiliar with MIL-STD-704F. Essential Skills 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering and hardware design. Experience in low to mid-power supply design (10-15 years). Proficiency in designing efficient power supplies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with MIL-STD-704F is preferred but not required. EMI/EMC compliance experience is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Germantown, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $96.00/hr.
