Y ou will lead the planning and delivery of the California Air Resources Board's Building Embodied Carbon Reporting Tool, an enterprise technology initiative supporting California's environmental reporting goals. You will guide schedules, risks, issues, cross-functional teams, and executive communication in an Agile/Scrum environment. Your leadership will help business and technical teams remain aligned from planning through implementation. This position is a proposal-contingent opportunity to be awarded later this year. Identify, document, escalate, and drive resolution of project risks and issues. Coordinate cross-functional business, technical, vendor, and stakeholder workstreams. Communicate project status, decisions, risks, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders and executive leadership. Facilitate Agile/Scrum planning, reviews, governance, and delivery activities. Provide organized, decisive leadership throughout project execution and major milestones. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Five or more years of experience serving as a Project Manager. Project Manager experience on at least one completed IT project valued at $2 million or more that supported at least 1,000 users. Five or more years of experience managing project schedules, risks, and issues. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or Public Administration; four additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis. Demonstrated leadership, organization, critical thinking, and constructive communication with stakeholders and executive leadership. Experience in Agile project environments using Scrum; ability to work Pacific Time hours and travel around releases or major milestones as needed.
