We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced transaction advisory and valuation professionals with hands-on expertise in M&A, financial due diligence, quality of earnings, business valuation, and deal modelling. This role supports an advanced AI initiative focused on translating real-world transaction and valuation workflows into structured evaluation materials. Selected professionals will develop realistic deal scenarios, review model-generated analyses, assess financial assumptions and conclusions, and provide detailed written feedback grounded in professional M&A and valuation practice. Key Responsibilities Financial Due Diligence & QoE Analysis Design realistic scenarios involving quality-of-earnings analyses and financial due diligence Develop tasks covering recurring and non-recurring adjustments, revenue quality, EBITDA normalisation, and earnings sustainability Review working-capital and net-debt analyses Identify unsupported adjustments, incomplete diligence findings, and inconsistencies in financial conclusions Evaluate whether analyses reflect sound transaction advisory judgment Valuation & Financial Modelling Create and review discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses Develop deal, merger, and leveraged buyout models Assess assumptions involving growth, margins, discount rates, capital structure, and terminal value Review model mechanics, formulas, sensitivities, and valuation conclusions Identify calculation errors, unrealistic assumptions, and methodological weaknesses Purchase Accounting & Deal Analysis Develop scenarios involving purchase price allocation and ASC 805 Review the identification and valuation of acquired assets, liabilities, and intangible assets Assess goodwill calculations and transaction-related accounting considerations Evaluate deal structures, sources and uses, financing assumptions, and post-transaction impacts AI Output Evaluation & Feedback Review and compare AI-generated transaction advisory and valuation outputs Assess analytical accuracy, defensibility of assumptions, and professional judgment Identify technical errors, missing considerations, and unsupported recommendations Provide clear written feedback explaining strengths, weaknesses, and required corrections Collaborate asynchronously with research and quality-review teams Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have: Professional experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, valuation, corporate development, or investment banking Big Four transaction advisory, boutique advisory, or comparable deal experience Hands-on ownership of quality-of-earnings analyses, valuation models, or deal models Strong understanding of working capital, net debt, EBITDA adjustments, and transaction mechanics Experience developing or reviewing DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, or LBO models Excellent written communication and close attention to detail Ability to work independently within an asynchronous project environment Educational Background A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related discipline is highly relevant CPA credentials may strengthen an application ASA, ABV, CFA, or another recognised valuation qualification may be valuable An MBA, master's degree, or advanced transaction advisory training may also be considered Nice to Have Experience preparing or reviewing quality-of-earnings reports Background in financial due diligence for buy-side or sell-side transactions Familiarity with ASC 805 purchase accounting Experience with purchase price allocation and intangible asset valuation Knowledge of corporate development, private equity, or investment banking workflows Advanced financial modelling and spreadsheet skills Previous involvement in task writing, rubric development, structured evaluation, or AI training-data work Experience reviewing transaction or valuation work prepared by other professionals Why This Opportunity Apply transaction advisory and valuation expertise to advanced AI evaluation work Develop realistic scenarios grounded in M&A and financial due diligence practice Influence how AI systems reason through complex deal and valuation tasks Review challenging outputs involving QoE, working capital, net debt, DCF, and purchase accounting Participate in flexible remote work with competitive hourly compensation Contract Details Independent contractor role Fully remote with flexible scheduling Competitive rates between $75–$115 per hour depending on expertise and project scope The application process may include a resume or professional-experience summary Applicants may be asked to describe their transaction advisory specialties and certifications Selected candidates may complete a brief sample task Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise Work may include scenario development, financial-output evaluation, written feedback, and quality calibration Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution About the Platform This opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
