Repackaging and Thumbnail Strategist We are seeking a skilled YouTube Strategist with 2–3+ years of experience to develop attention-grabbing, data-driven thumbnails. Who We Are Looking For: We’re looking for a highly experienced YouTube Strategist with 2–3+ years experience in YouTube. Who can ideate unique, data-backed and compelling thumbnails that make people click. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping how our videos are presented in the world. Including if thumbnails are not performing across our network of channels, repackaging an older video to help improve video performance. Your Responsibilities and Skills: 🔹Thumbnail Strategy Manage and provide feedback to thumbnail designers to ensure deadlines are met, and designs are completed before video publish date. Ideate thumbnail briefs, mockups of thumbnails to be created for designers. Utilize AI tools such as Weavy and Claude for your workflow Design Software Experience: Utilize Photoshop for any final adjustments to thumbnail designs with multiple design versions. YouTube Metrics Analysis: Analyze key YouTube metrics and analytics to gauge content effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Collaboration with production departments to ensure the thumbnail and video content align to maximise video performance. Contribute in channel ideation sessions and analytics meetings, providing packaging insights Children Specific Content: Stay informed about developments in children's entertainment to resonate with the target audience. 🔹Video Repackaging Ideate clear, strategic thumbnail mockups to repackage older videos, based on channel needs. Collaborate with the analytics and creative teams to identify high-potential content for repackaging, using visual hooks and trends. Identify poor performing videos, potential repackaging opportunities Trends Integration: Incorporate current audience’s trends into thumbnails to maintain relevance and engagement. 🔹 Collaboration & Workflow Communicate proactively with the team focusing on solutions. Respond to feedback swiftly and iterate with precision and efficiency. Work with urgency when needed to deliver emergency thumbnails or repackage briefs under tight timelines. Have ownership over the work. Requirements: A good sense of maturity and proactive communication Preparing thumbnails or switching designs over weekends if necessary Experience in using AI tools, (Claude, Gemini,etc) 1-2+ years experience in Photoshop Deep understanding of composition, colour theory, lighting, and text integration for YouTube thumbnails. Ability to design with algorithm and audience behaviour in mind — not just aesthetics. Bonus Points Experience working with top-tier creators or large YouTube networks. Experience in packaging strategy, ideation. Experience with your own YouTube channel that has performed well.
