While we welcome applicants from across the United States, preference may be given to candidates located within approximately two hours of our Prospect, KY home office for occasional in-person collaboration, meetings, training, and team events. Your job? Investigate unmatched items, decode what they actually are, and link them to HANDLE’s internal catalog. Whether the information is inconsistent, incomplete, or simply difficult to identify, you'll transform ambiguity into trusted, actionable data. Master Data Steward: Accurately create and maintain product records in our master database. Your work will power capital requests, budgets, and sourcing intel across major hospital systems. Quality Guardian: Maintain exceptional data quality. You’ll routinely scrub the catalog, eliminate duplicate entries, and ensure our asset intelligence stays sharp and standardized. Subject Matter Expert: Match product aliases like a pro. That infusion pump known by 5 different names across 3 hospitals? You’ll map it to a single, precise identifier. SQL Investigator: Use SQL to answer data-related questions, uncover inconsistencies, and build queries that inform decision-making. If the data looks off, you’ll track down the “why.” Collaborative Partner: You’re not in this alone. Work closely with internal teams to validate product matches, share findings, and elevate the company’s collective data IQ. Versatile Problem Solver: From investigating edge cases to jumping in on fast-turnaround needs, you’re flexible, responsive, and always game to support the mission. What Will Help You Succeed: Insight Storyteller: You know how to turn data into dashboards that actually tell a story — and how to track data quality over time. Curiosity Meets Craft: You’re always leveling up in tools like Databricks, SQL, or visualization platforms — and you know that great data work is a mix of detective work and discipline. Growth Mindset: Whether it's optimizing a process or mastering a new tool, you're always pushing to improve your workflows and deliver more value, faster. Qualifications and skills: Essentials: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a data analytics or research role. Internships or assistantships in related fields can be considered as experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookups, and graphs). Analytical prowess with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude. Self-starter mentality, not afraid to manage upward. Preferred: Hands-on experience in SQL query building and Python data analysis. Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
