Job Description Job Description: The Quest project at the Emory Autism Center (EAC) seeks to hire a part-time (5 to 15 hours, weekly) Graduate Research Assistant. We envision our outstanding new hire from the Rollins School of Public Health to have excellent communication skills (both written and oral), organizational skills, and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills. Experience with supporting autistic youth and/or adults and their families is expected, and a background with program evaluation (qualitative and quantitative) is preferred. The ideal candidate will also hold expertise with programs like Canva to create professional reports and marketing materials. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific roles and activities will include sending out evaluation surveys and follow-up to ensure completion; coding/scoring documents, coordinating reliability checks, and data entry; data analysis, preparation of results and preparation of reports and presentations; data and file management; coordination and collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues, including support and mentorship of undergraduate students; other activities as assigned, including creation of new resources, development and piloting of new evaluation tools and procedures, participation in project advisory board meetings, IRB management, etc. In certain circumstances, our outstanding GRA may also engage with other programs at EAC such as Emory Oaks or the Monarch School Consultation and Training program. In addition, the roles, activities and deliverables associated with this position are likely to be suitable for the student’s Applied Practical Experience. This position is hybrid with opportunities to work from home as well from EAC, and the hire is for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Opportunities to begin during Summer 2026 are possible.
