Research Contract Specialist (Remote), Research Services - Clinical Research Management (Full-Time, Days)

Job Summary The Research Contract Specialist will report directly to the Director of Clinical Research Management and will have a functional reporting relationship to the Office of Legal Affairs. The Research Contract Specialist will facilitate the timely review and execution of research-related contractual agreements on behalf of Prisma Health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Reviews and edits research related agreements in accordance with policy and relevant law, regulation, and accreditation requirements. Works with research staff and research sponsor staff to communicate edits, negotiate and execute agreements in a timely manner. Responds to research staff contract inquiries. Uses contract management system and other project management software to track all contract activity and report on metrics Meets with internal, institution stakeholders (Legal Affairs, Information Technology, Purchasing, etc.) to review specialized contract issues and receive direction on new regulatory requirements. Coordinates and communicates with the Office of Research Support Services teams to receive direction on contract priorities, changes in policy, and other issues. Reviews clinical research documents to ensure consistency of terms Performs other duties as assigned, Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. Minimum Requirements Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal or related field of study.
