Role Description The Research Investigator is a full-time, remote role responsible for conducting detailed investigations and research to support background checks and due diligence cases. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources, verifying identities and professional histories, and preparing clear, accurate reports for clients. The role involves collaborating with international team members, applying investigative methodologies, and maintaining strict confidentiality and data security standards. The Research Investigator will also contribute to developing and refining research approaches, ensuring that investigations comply with legal and ethical guidelines. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple cases independently.

Qualifications

• Strong research abilities, including data collection, analysis, and critical evaluation of sources.
• Laboratory skills and familiarity with controlled experimental procedures, where applicable to investigative work.
• Exposure to in vivo research methods and related investigative techniques, as relevant.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with global stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience in investigative work, compliance, risk management, or due diligence is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with digital research tools, databases, and secure information management systems.
• Word Office proficient
