Responsible Officer

Position: Responsible Officer (RO)

SFC Licensed Activities: Type 1

Work Pattern: Primarily Remote, with only ~1 day per week in the office

Package: HK$20,000 - $25,000 per month / 12 Months' Salary

The Role

• Act as the SFC Responsible Officer for our upcoming Licensed Corporations, specifically for Type 1 +VA regulated activities.
• Ensure full compliance with all SFC regulations, guidelines, and the Code of Conduct.
• Supervise and monitor the conduct of the firm's regulated activities to ensure they are carried out in a fit and proper manner.
• Manage and review the company's compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.
• Act as a key point of contact for the SFC and handle all regulatory communications and reporting.
• Provide guidance and training to other licensed representatives within the firm.

Your Profile

• Must be a current SFC Responsible Officer, or have been one within the recent past, with a clear track record.
• Holds, or is immediately able to be approved for, SFC licenses for Type 1
• In-depth knowledge of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) and all relevant SFC regulations.
• A proactive, responsible, and self-motivated individual who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Good command in Chinese and English
