We are currently looking for an Area Manager to lead our retail business across France , playing a key role in driving commercial performance, elevating the customer experience and developing high-performing store teams. This role offers an exciting international growth opportunity, with the potential to expand its scope as the business continues to grow. Reporting directly to the Retail Director , you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across your region while inspiring teams to achieve outstanding commercial results and deliver an exceptional client experience. Your Mission As Area Manager, you will act as a strategic partner for the business, translating the company's retail strategy into operational excellence across your stores. Through inspirational leadership, commercial insight and a strong customer-centric mindset, you will empower your teams to achieve sustainable growth while maintaining the highest standards of the Pronovias brand. How will you contribute? Drive the commercial performance of your region, ensuring the achievement of sales, profitability and productivity targets. Define regional business priorities and action plans together with the Retail Director, translating business objectives into measurable results. Lead, coach and inspire Store Managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on client experience, accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor and analyse key business indicators, identifying opportunities and implementing initiatives to maximise store performance. Ensure consistent execution of retail standards, operational procedures and commercial policies across all stores within your region. Oversee workforce planning, productivity and payroll optimisation, ensuring an efficient allocation of resources. Partner with HR to attract, develop and retain top retail talent, supporting succession planning and internal career development. Conduct regular store visits to coach teams, identify business opportunities and ensure operational excellence. Promote an exceptional client experience across every touchpoint, reinforcing the luxury positioning of the Pronovias brand. Build strong relationships with Store Managers, acting as a trusted business partner and supporting them in decision-making and problem solving. Prepare business reviews and performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to the Retail Director to support strategic decision-making. Lead and support retail transformation projects, contributing to the continuous evolution of the business. What are we looking for? Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Area Manager within the premium or luxury retail sector. Proven experience leading multi-site retail operations and successfully developing high-performing store teams. Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and profitability through KPI management. Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills. Ability to analyse business performance and translate data into actionable commercial strategies. Strong organisational skills, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment. Passion for fashion, luxury retail and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Languages Fluent French and English are essential. Spanish will be highly valued. German and Italy are desirable. Any additional language will be considered an asset. What do we offer?
