Role description ---------------- The Retail & E-commerce Expert Commentary role is a remote contract position open to experts located anywhere in the United Kingdom. You will provide clear, accurate commentary on consumer demand, merchandising, pricing, stores, marketplaces, fulfillment, customer acquisition, and retail operations. The expected commitment is approximately four hours per month. You will review Authority.inc research, datasets, and forecasts to identify errors, weak assumptions, and missing context. Your commentary will be used to fine-tune the most accurate forecasting models in the world. These models are designed to predict events, decisions, and outcomes across retail and e-commerce markets globally. You may be featured as an expert correspondent for your specialist niche, market segment, or geographic area. Qualifications -------------- At least five years of professional experience in retail and e-commerce. Deep knowledge of at least one relevant vertical, function, or specialist discipline. Firsthand experience with the sector’s decisions, operations, risks, and market dynamics. Ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely in written and verbal form. A detail-oriented approach and commitment to accuracy and consistency. Engagement details ------------------ Remote contract position. Open to experts located anywhere in the United Kingdom.
