Salary Range: $59,849.00 To $74,811.00 Annually JOB TITLE: RFP / Proposal Writer EMPLOYER: AssistRx DEPARTMENT: Marketing REPORTS TO: Manager, Marketing LOCATION: Maitland, FL area or Remote EFFECTIVE DATE: 04/01/2024 REVIEW DATE: 06/01/2026 SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Marketing and Sales , the RFP/proposal writer will collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop content and deliver proposals through execution. This writer should be a detail-oriented team player who possesses strong organizational and decision-making skills. They should be able to meet deadlines and work both independently and in groups. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task are essential . DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Translating solutions into effective business proposals tailored to prospects’ unique needs Analyzing various business products and services and applying their capabilities/functionality to the proposal story Supporting with growth to leading the proposal development process, from kickoff to brainstorm sessions to RFP defense meetings Applying layout and other desktop publishing skills, such as PowerPoint and Word Strong proofing and editing abilities to edit content for conciseness and consistency Ability to research and write to complex topics Maintaining content repository Adhering to stringent proposal schedule deadlines Understanding proposal databases Performs other related duties as assigned by management SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Biological Science, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as a writer; experience in healthcare/specialty pharmacy a plus. Strong teamwork and with a desire to learn and grow. Public relations and/or marketing agency experience a plus.
