They provide solutions such as payment acquiring, BIN sponsorship, white-label card issuing, and digital banking platforms to merchants, fintech companies, and banks worldwide. Role Overview As a Risk Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenges in transaction monitoring and compliance. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring merchant compliance with industry rules and identifying potential risks, thereby contributing to the company's robust risk management framework. Key Responsibilities Ensure merchants’ compliance with Visa and Mastercard rules and requirements. Conduct transaction monitoring for both Fraud and AML purposes. Analyse WebShield alerts and oversee transaction monitoring rules. Review merchant activity during onboarding and ongoing monitoring stages. Monitor merchants’ chargeback and fraud ratios and identify potential risks. Perform risk assessments and escalate suspicious activities when necessary. Support the implementation and improvement of internal risk controls and monitoring processes. Cooperate closely with Compliance, Operations, and other internal teams. Requirements 2+ years of experience in Risk, Fraud Prevention, Transaction Monitoring, Compliance Operations, or a related field within fintech, payments, banking, or financial services. Strong understanding of Visa and Mastercard rules and requirements. Experience with transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and merchant risk assessment. Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures. Experience working with merchant onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes. Fluent Russian and English are required. Latvian language skills are highly preferred. Key Soft Skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
