About the role As a Risk and Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening Telstra Health's risk and compliance maturity, helping the business effectively identify, manage and respond to risk and compliance obligations. Working within the Second Line of Defence, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to embed practical risk and compliance practices, conduct assurance activities and support a strong risk-aware culture. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to influence how risk and compliance are managed across a complex healthcare environment, while contributing to broader supplier management, business resilience and continuous improvement. What you'll be doing Lead risk assessments, workshops and monitoring activities, maintaining robust risk registers and Key Risk Indicators. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of risk, compliance and governance frameworks, policies and processes. Deliver targeted Second Line assurance reviews and provide practical recommendations to management. Provide risk and compliance insights, reporting and guidance to support informed business decision-making. Develop and deliver training, tools and frameworks to strengthen First Line risk and compliance capability. Support business resilience, continuity and incident management activities, including testing and lessons learned. Lead and develop a direct report while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Telstra Health. About you 8+ years' experience in Risk & Compliance, Audit or a similar discipline, leading risk, compliance and assurance activities. Demonstrated experience operating within a Second Line of Defence environment and advising senior stakeholders on risk and controls. Strong experience designing, implementing and uplifting risk, compliance and governance frameworks. Proven experience delivering assurance programs, including controls testing, reviews and health checks. Strong enterprise risk management capability with sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex environments. Experience in business continuity, resilience and crisis management, including planning, testing and response coordination. Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders. Experience in healthcare, clinical or another highly regulated industry is highly regarded. Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk, governance, compliance, assurance or auditing are essential, with CA, CPA, CIA or CISA highly regarded. About Us Flexibility isn't a perk - it's how we work!
