Job Summary Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robot Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS 2, perception, motion planning, and robotics software development . Key Responsibilities Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python . Design and integrate sensor pipelines (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other sensors). Implement perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and control algorithms. Develop applications using ROS/ROS 2 and integrate with robotic hardware. Build and test robotic solutions using simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of robotics software development experience. Strong programming skills in C++ and Python . Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2 . Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or robotic control systems. Familiarity with sensor fusion and simulation environments. Strong debugging, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Robotics or a related field. Experience with autonomous vehicles, drones, or industrial robotics. Knowledge of safety-critical software and ML-based perception. Open-source contributions to robotics projects.
