Route Profitability sits at the heart of Jetstar’s financial performance – providing direct influence over where we fly, how we price and how we optimise the network to deliver EBIT outcomes Join Jetstar’s Finance team in a high-impact role, partnering with Commercial and Network teams to shape key decisions driving network performance Full‑time, permanent opportunity based at Jetstar HQ (Docklands), with hybrid working arrangements As the Route Profitability Manager , you will play a critical role in driving Jetstar’s financial performance across the network. Sitting at the intersection of Finance, Network Planning and Commercial, this role is responsible for leading the delivery and continuous improvement of the Route Profitability capability, ensuring robust governance while generating actionable insights that directly influence strategic decision-making and financial outcomes. Partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial and Network teams, you will translate complex financial data into clear, commercially focused insights. With a strong emphasis on influencing outcomes, you will contribute to capacity, scheduling and network decisions that optimise profitability and support EBIT delivery. Operating in a fast paced, data rich aviation environment, this role balances financial rigour with strategic thinking and hands on delivery. You will lead structured processes, ensure data integrity, and provide forward looking analysis that supports planning, forecasting and long-term network strategy. To be considered for this role, key skills will include: CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) preferred Strong background in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance transformation/projects, with additional consideration given to candidates with commercial operational experience. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and advanced analytical problem solving Advanced Excel skills, with experience in TM1, Power BI or similar systems highly regarded Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights that drive business outcomes Strong capability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders, particularly within Commercial functions Experience contributing to strategic decisions such as capacity allocation, pricing or business cases Ability to lead structured deliverables, improve processes and ensure strong governance frameworks Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Your Life at Jetstar Is Unlike Any Other Put the craft in aircraft: There’s a new fleet of A321LR NEO’s waiting for your arrival.
