RShiny Application Developer

We are looking for an experienced R Shiny Developer to join a long-term project focused on delivering high-quality data visualization solutions for research and preclinical environments.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining R Shiny dashboards and applications used by researchers and clinicians. As these solutions are presented to senior stakeholders, a strong focus on usability, visual appeal, and overall quality is essential.

This is a highly autonomous role where you will take ownership of the full application landscape, working independently while collaborating directly with the client and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and applications using R Shiny.
• Transform complex datasets into intuitive and impactful visualizations.
• Ensure a polished user experience with strong attention to design, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that support research and scientific initiatives.
• Contribute to data engineering activities and support data integration workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with R Shiny (mandatory).
• Solid background in Data Engineering.
• Good understanding of:
• Data models and database structures.
• Data pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Data integration and transformation processes.
• Experience working with analytics or data science teams is a plus.
• Previous experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or regulated environments is beneficial but not required.
