Job Description This is a remote position. Summary: On-Call respiratory therapists who interact directly with the client organization staff and patients to deliver virtual respiratory therapy service. Reporting: This position will report to the Operations Director. Position responsibilities: ● Self Scheduling of on-call shifts ● Ability to perform basic computer operating tasks such as operating system GUI functions ● Responsibility for making oneself available during on-call shift ● Highly Developed Communication Skills (phone, written, and professional) ● Complete initial EMR training for each client facility as required ● Documentation in a variety of EMR programs (client based) ● Drafting a complete assessment note with detailed care plan ● Ordering proper respiratory therapy modalities per patient situation ● Follow policy and procedure relative to each client facility ● Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot Respiratory Therapy equipment and patient situations ● Adhere to HIPAA guidelines ● Complete internal documentation relative to rtNOW business goals ● Submit call tracking and other required business forms Requirements ● Minimum 5 years of bedside experience in respiratory therapy ● Minimum Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy ● Registered Respiratory Therapy credential ● Experience in bedside critical care respiratory therapy practice ● Working Knowledge of Standards for cardiac support (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) ● State license in assigned service location ● Computer / Laptop with operating system no greater than 6 years old ● Internet browser and desktop application use skills ● Electronic Medical Record experience Benefits
