RTR Accounting Professional with French

The RTR Accounting Professional will be based in our Kraków office, Poland , and will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with both local and group accounting standards. The successful candidate will support month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Record-to-Report (RTR) function. Responsibilities Perform day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, allocations, and intercompany transactions. Take ownership of Fixed Assets module in SAP, including Fixed Assets additions, disposals, adjustments (ex. impairment entries), reconciliations between AA module and GL. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Month-end intercompany transactions and reconciliations. Perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts Contribute to reporting activities. Collaborate with the RTR Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner to drive process standardization and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting principles, internal controls, and Group policies. Actively support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization projects within the RTR function. Requirements University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting, preferably within a Shared Service Center (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), or multinational environment. Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and month-end close activities. Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and intercompany accounting. Proficiency in SAP or another ERP system. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Fluent English and French , both written and spoken. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
