With a strong growth mindset and a highly technical team, they offer an environment where engineers can take ownership, contribute ideas, and work on meaningful, safety-critical challenges. 🚀 Your Role As a Safety & Reliability Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated System, Safety & Security team, working on complex engineering projects across multiple industries. You will take ownership of safety analyses and ensure compliance with relevant standards throughout the development lifecycle. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Plan, conduct and manage safety processes and analyses Perform safety and reliability assessments (FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA, Fault Tree Analysis) Define safety goals and derive quantitative requirements Create and manage safety documentation according to standards such as: ISO 26262 ARP4754 / ARP4761 EN 50126 / 50129 Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (software, systems, data) Support technical discussions with customers when needed ✅ Your Profile Must-have 3+ years of experience in Safety or Reliability Engineering Hands-on experience with: FMEA / FMECA / FMEDA Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Knowledge of relevant safety standards (ISO 26262, EN 50126, ARP4754 or similar) Solid background in electrical engineering or related field Fluent German (C1 level) and good English (B2+) Completed technical university degree Nice to have Experience with tools like Medini Analyze or Reliability Workbench Background in Automotive, Aviation, Rail or Defence industries Experience with embedded systems / ECUs Customer-facing technical communication experience ⚠️ Important Notes This role requires hands-on safety engineering experience (not purely managerial profiles) Majority on-site presence in Friedrichshafen is expected German language skills are essential for this position 💰 Compensation & Benefits Salary: €72,000 – €90,000 + performance bonus (up to €5,000) Hybrid working model (2 days remote per week) Flexible working hours Strong growth opportunities within a growing engineering company Collaborative, technical team environment Modern workplace and shared team culture 📩 Interested?
