Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Athens. The Sales Agent Holiday Planner – German Speaker (m/f/x) will support customers in planning boat and yacht holidays, mainly through phone, email, and chat in German and English. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries, advising customers on suitable boats and routes, preparing and sending quotes, and guiding clients through the booking and payment process. The role also involves coordinating with boat owners and partners, explaining insurance and booking terms, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. The Sales Agent will proactively follow up on leads, contribute to sales targets, and provide feedback to improve processes and training materials.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, with fluent German and good English, and the ability to explain options clearly and professionally.
• Customer service skills, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a customer-centered approach.
• Sales skills for converting leads, negotiating offers, and meeting or exceeding booking and revenue targets.
• Ability to explain booking, cancellation, and coverage terms to customers.
• Ability to learn quickly and support training efforts, including sharing best practices and product knowledge with team members.
• Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or tourism sales is highly beneficial; experience with boating or yachting is a plus.
• Comfort with CRM tools, online booking systems, and general computer proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a professional environment.
