Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Salary: £27,000 + monthly incentive

Role Overview

As a Sales Consultant, you’ll turn customer enquiries into confirmed bookings, helping guests find the right holiday home from our portfolio.

You’ll manage customers from initial enquiry through to booking, using your property and destination knowledge to make confident recommendations, proactively following up opportunities and working towards individual and team sales targets.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven role for someone who enjoys speaking to customers, closing sales and taking ownership of their pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage villa enquiries across phone, email, live chat and Salesforce.
  • Understand customers’ requirements, preferences and budgets and recommend suitable properties.
  • Develop strong knowledge of our properties and destinations to provide expert, personalised advice.
  • Manage customers from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.
  • Proactively follow up leads and manage your sales pipeline to maximise conversion.
  • Identify opportunities to increase booking value and revenue.
  • Liaise with homeowners and internal teams on availability, pricing and special requests.
  • Work towards individual and team KPIs, conversion rates and sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate customer and booking information in Salesforce.
  • Share knowledge, leads and ideas with the wider Sales team.
  • Represent Oliver’s Travels and deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience.

Required Experience & Skills

We care more about your potential and attitude than having years of experience. You’ll need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence speaking to customers on the phone.
  • A commercial mindset and genuine motivation to convert enquiries into bookings.
  • Confidence working towards targets, KPIs and incentives.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to understand customer requirements and confidently recommend appropriate options.
  • Confidence using, or learning, CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple enquiries at once.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service or another customer-facing role.
  • Experience within travel, hospitality or a similar industry.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.
  • French or Spanish language skills.

Personal Attributes

  • Driven: You’re motivated by results and always looking for the next opportunity.
  • Proactive: You follow up, take initiative and don’t wait to be asked.
  • Resilient: You stay positive when a sale doesn’t go your way and quickly move on to the next opportunity.
  • Accountable: You take ownership of your pipeline, targets and customer experience.
  • Collaborative: You share knowledge and support the wider team while enjoying some healthy competition.
  • Curious: You’re keen to build your knowledge of our properties, destinations and customers.
  • Customer-focused: You genuinely enjoy helping people create extraordinary holidays.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working five days per week, 7.5 hours per day, on a rota between 8am and 7pm Monday to Sunday, including weekend shifts.
