Sales Executive, Lodging

What You'll Do Join Avalara MyLodgeTax Avalara MyLodgeTax specifically focuses on lodging tax compliance for short-term rental owners and property managers. The Sales Executive plays a critical role in driving Avalara's continued high-growth. You will manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries, advances prospects through the sales cycle, completes the onboarding, and ensures a seamless customer experience from initial engagement through account activation and licensing. You will report to the Sales Manager for Lodging and can work remote. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Exceed sales and onboarding targets within a high-growth segment of Avalara Manage inbound calls and email inquiries from prospective customers Conduct proactive outbound outreach to produce and grow pipeline Sell Avalara MyLodgeTax to both new and existing customers Guide prospects through the full sales cycle, from discovery to close Partner with Business Development, Sales Executives, Support, and Licensing teams to ensure smooth onboarding and activation Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead generation efforts and campaign messaging Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and account data in Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and other sales tools Use AI tools daily to increase productivity, improve engagement, and increase results What You'll Need to be Successful 5+ years of sales or customer service experience You have exceeded performance goals Experience maintaining clean records of sales outreach and contacts in a CRM with experience managing pipeline in Salesforce (or similar CRM) Positive and customer-focused mindset #LinkedIn-Remote Avalara is an AI-first Company AI is embedded in our workflows, decision-making, and products.
