Sales Lead Gen/Appointment Setter

Job Description This is a remote position. Remote | Full-Time | EST (Eastern Time) Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Lead Generator / Appointment Setter to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified sales appointments with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through high-volume outbound calling. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident sales professional who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable making cold calls. Comprehensive training will be provided, but we're looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in appointment setting and outbound sales. Key Responsibilities: Make a high volume of outbound prospecting calls to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Identify potential customers and generate qualified sales opportunities. Schedule appointments for the sales team by engaging prospects in meaningful conversations. Conduct premise-based, conversational sales calls rather than relying on scripted pitches. Build rapport with prospects, uncover business needs, and create interest in the company's services. Handle objections professionally and confidently while maintaining a positive attitude. Accurately document call outcomes and appointment details in the company's CRM or tracking system. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment-setting targets. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads. Qualifications: At least 2 years of proven experience in appointment setting, lead generation, or outbound sales. Demonstrated success making cold calls and booking qualified appointments. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Naturally confident, persuasive, and comfortable spending most of the workday on the phone. Resilient, persistent, and able to handle rejection professionally. Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills. High school diploma plus a minimum Associate Degree. Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office suitable for remote work.
