Sales Solution Architect

What's the role? As a Sales Solution Architect, you will be the technical bridge between our customers, Sales and HERE's technology organization. You will uncover complex business and technical needs, design solutions using HERE data and platform capabilities, and show customers how location intelligence can create measurable value. You will lead architecture discussions, demonstrations, workshops and proofs of concept across mapping, routing, APIs, spatial analytics, cloud, AI and enterprise integration. Your goal is to move customers from 'What problem are we solving?' to 'How can HERE solve it?' What will you do? Lead technical discovery with business, executive, and engineering stakeholders. Design end-to-end solutions using HERE data, APIs, mapping, routing, location services, and platform capabilities. Deliver technical demonstrations, architecture workshops, proofs of concept and evaluations. Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, reduce technical risk, and accelerate customer decisions. Create solution architectures, proposals, reference designs and reusable presales assets. Work across Product, Engineering, Professional Services and partners to shape viable customer solutions. Apply GIS, spatial analytics, AI and emerging location technologies to real customer problems. Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey. Who are you? You combine technical depth, commercial judgment, and strong customer engagement. You can simplify complex technology without losing credibility and connect architecture decisions to business outcomes. 5+ years in solution architecture, technical presales, consulting, systems integration or a similar customer-facing technical role. Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Hands-on experience with APIs, cloud platforms, data architectures, software integration or enterprise technology. Experience creating architectures, technical presentations, demonstrations and proofs of concept. Strong communication skills with developers, architects, business leaders and executives. A consultative mindset and the ability to influence decisions and build trusted relationships. Ability to learn complex platforms quickly and work effectively across Sales, Product and Engineering. It would be great if you also bring Experience with GIS, mapping, spatial analytics or location intelligence. Domain knowledge in mobility, automotive, transportation, logistics, fleet, supply chain or related industries. Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud. Exposure to geospatial AI, digital twins, large-scale data or machine-learning solutions. Why HERE? HERE combines global location data, enterprise-grade technology and deep real-world context. The expected base salary range for this position is $121,000 to $173,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance.
